ComicMan allows you to keep track of your comics collection.
We are currently rewriting ComicMan which will include new features and have better support for other devices.
The following information and screenshots are from the old version of ComicMan.
Features
Some of the features are:
- Letters can be created that can be sent to the publisher. This can either be e-mailed or printed out to be faxed or posted.
- Weekly reports can be generated and taken to the local comics shop for confirmation of issues that have come in for the week.
- Pictures can be added to each issue for quick reference. These can either be scanned in or downloaded from the Internet.
- Want lists can be generated for missing issues or upcoming issues.
- Weekly, Monthly and Year reports can be generated to compare which periods have been the most expensive.
- More features but to come.
Screen Shots
Some sample screen shots are shown below from an
old version.
![]() |
| The front screen shows the comics that
are current. This displays the titles in the collection along with the
issues relating to the title selected. Titles that are either finished or not collected any more can be "hidden" so that only the current titles are shown. This allows for a smaller view of the issues that are in the database. |
![]() |
| The details for the selected issue. The issues details can be entered in such as the price, stories and the covers can be included as well. |

Multiple-Year
graphs can be produced for a selected range of years. The graph shown is for
2000 to 2002. This graph is produced from live data. Multiple years can be compared to see which one was the most expensive. The graph can be printed out as well. |
